Who owns Peoples Feed

peoplesfeed.in/ is owned in full by Incunation Global, a sole proprietorship registered in India and based in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

As a sole proprietorship, Incunation Global has one owner and no shareholders. There is no holding company, no investor, no private equity stake, no trust and no partner. Dr. Mayank Raj owns the business and is personally responsible for it in law.

Incunation Global describes itself as a media, technology, innovation and incubation advisory firm. Its media arm publishes Peoples Feed and StartupFeed.in.

Who does not fund us

We are not a registered non-profit, we do not run a donations programme, and we do not accept crowdfunding. We hold no philanthropic or foundation grants.

How Peoples Feed is funded

Peoples Feed is funded by its owner and by ordinary commercial revenue. There are four sources, in order of expected size at launch.

1. Owner capital. Incunation Global funds the newsroom out of the proprietor’s own resources and the earnings of the wider firm. This is the main source of funding at launch and covers hosting, tools, licensing and contributor payments.
2. Display advertising. Programmatic and directly sold display advertising on the site. Advertisers buy inventory. They do not buy editorial.
3. Sponsored content and branded partnerships. Clearly labelled sponsored articles, newsletter placements and event partnerships, sold and produced under the rules on our Advertise With Us page.
4. Syndication and licensing. Fees for republishing Peoples Feed material with written permission.

We may add a paid newsletter, a membership or a reader-supported tier in future. If we do, this page will be updated before it launches and the terms will be published in full.

What we sell and what we will never sell

There is no rate card for editorial coverage, because editorial coverage is not a product. If anybody tells you they can place a story on Peoples Feed for a fee, they are misrepresenting us. Please tell us at connect@peoplesfeed.in.

How sponsored content is disclosed

• The label Sponsored appears at the top of the page, above the headline, in the same or larger size as the byline, and is visible without scrolling on both mobile and desktop.
• The name of the sponsor is stated in the label, not hidden at the bottom.
• Sponsored articles carry no Peoples Feed reporter byline. They are bylined to the sponsor or to “Peoples Feed Brand Desk”.
• Sponsored content is excluded from our news feeds, our newsletters’ news sections and our category archives wherever the platform allows it, and it is tagged so that it is distinguishable in our sitemap.
• Sponsored links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute.
• Where an article mentions a current advertiser, we disclose that in the article.

The firewall between commercial and editorial

Peoples Feed is a small newsroom, and the proprietor is also the Editor. We do not pretend that this is the same as a large organisation with two separate buildings. So we state the firewall as a set of rules that can be checked, rather than as an org chart.

• Commercial conversations never reach reporters. Advertising and sponsorship enquiries go to connect@peoplesfeed.in and are handled there. Reporters are not told who is advertising, and they are not asked to write about advertisers.
• No advertiser or sponsor sees an article before publication. Not a draft, not a headline, not a summary. The single exception is a sponsored article, which the sponsor is naturally shown, because it is their content and it is labelled as theirs.
• No subject of an article gets copy approval. We check specific facts with people. That is not the same as showing them the article.
• Advertising cannot trigger, delay or kill an article. If an advertiser withdraws spend because of our coverage, we publish the coverage. If an advertiser withdraws spend and we consider it material, we will say so on this page.
• Sponsored content is never written by the reporter who covers that beat, and never carries their name.
• The Editor’s dual role is disclosed on every page that matters. Where an editorial decision has a commercial dimension, the decision is recorded in writing, and where a story touches Incunation Global or StartupFeed.in, the article discloses the relationship.

Conflicts of interest

Members of the newsroom declare to the Editor any financial interest, family relationship, prior employment, membership or political role that touches a story they are assigned. Where a conflict exists, the story is reassigned or the interest is disclosed inside the article. Nobody covers an organisation they or an immediate family member work for. We do not accept gifts, paid travel, hospitality, free products for keeps, or speaking fees from the people and institutions we cover. Where travel to an event is paid for by an organiser and there is no practical alternative, the article says so.

Our relationship with StartupFeed.in

StartupFeed.in is owned by the same proprietor and shares some infrastructure and social accounts with Peoples Feed. The two publications have separate editorial remits. Where Peoples Feed writes about a company, founder or investor that StartupFeed.in also covers, the coverage is decided independently on the Peoples Feed beats and gates. Where an article on either site concerns the other site, the relationship is disclosed in the article.

Technology and service providers we pay

For transparency about who has access to our infrastructure and reader data: our site runs on WordPress, hosted by Hostinger, with the Foxiz theme, Elementor Pro, Rank Math SEO, LiteSpeed Cache and Autoptimize, and is delivered through a content delivery network. Analytics and advertising providers are listed in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. These are ordinary commercial suppliers. None of them has any editorial input.

Keeping this page honest

This page is reviewed at least once a year and updated immediately if any of the following changes: the ownership of Incunation Global, the addition of any investor or shareholder, the receipt of any grant or funding from a government body, political party or foreign entity, the launch of a reader revenue product, or any change to the firewall rules above.
